Last month I was reading an article titled "understanding men: the true meaning of Godly masculinity," by John Elderidge. It was about the differences between men and women and at the end it asks the questions that men and women are seeking the answers to. Men: "Do I have what it takes?" Women: "Will anyone choose me? Am I worth fighting for? Am I beautiful?"
This past Sunday I had one of those, laying it all out before God, moments and I found myself asking God this same question..."Am I worth fighting for?" It was like God stopped me in the middle of my prayer and dropped in my spirit..."worth fighting for?! You're worth dying for and I did die for you." Wow. Yet again, Lord I'm amazed by You, how You love me.
